Hello My Name Is...

Mrs. Menner

Mountain Lions

I was born and raised in House Springs, MO and I'm the oldest of three children!  I have two brothers, Josh and Chase, that I love and are a very big part of my life.  I actually went to Clyde Hamrick all through elementary school and Mrs. Anderson was my 5th grade teacher...shhhh don't tell her I told you.  It makes her feel old.  :) I went to Seckman Jr. High and Fox High School.  After I graduated from high school, I went to Missouri Baptist University and double majored in Early Childhood and Elementary Education.  I was so excited when I got a job because teaching had been my dream since I was in Kindergarten!

I taught 1st grade for 4 years.  Then I moved to READ 180 for 2 years.  I taught 4th grade for 2 years and this is my third year in 3rd grade.  I can't believe this will by my 11th year teaching, but I love my job and can't wait to share it with you!

I have been married to Mr. Menner for 7 years.  He is a manager at 84 Lumber in Arnold.  We have a son, Jaxon, who will be 4 in September.  Jaxon is a very special little boy.  In the summer of 2013, he was diagnosed with A.L.L. (Acute Lymphoblasitc Leukemia) Type B.  It was devastating to hear, but we knew he could beat it.  It is the most curable type of leukemia with a success rate of 91%.  He was in the hospital for 21 days when first diagnosed and a few other times since.  He is now in REMISSION and continuing to get better!  He is the love of my life and keeps me on my toes!  I will miss him very much when I am here with you, so I'm leaving it up to YOU to make my days happy and bright!

I am very excited to be your teacher this year!  I know together we can make this year a "Sweet" Success!
